Intel Core Ultra 5 245K challenges its competitors with its performance

In the tests, the Core Ultra 5 245K was found to be 2.6% behind in single-core performance when compared to the Intel Core i5-14600K. However, when it came to multi-core performance, the 245K left its rival behind, gaining a 6% advantage.

In other words, the Core Ultra 5 245K is more powerful, especially in multitasking or heavy-duty applications. The 245K stands out not only with its performance, but also in terms of power consumption and heating. Offering a total of 50 MB cache capacity with 24 MB L3 and 26 MB L2 cache, the processor impresses with its efficient data processing ability.

The processor, which has a base frequency of 4.2 GHz, can reach a turbo frequency of up to 5.2 GHz. The energy efficiency-focused cores operate at 3.6 GHz and rise to 4.6 GHz. Despite these performance values, the processor’s highest temperature remains at 64 ° C and offers a more efficient option than the 14600K with a power consumption of 160 W.

Intel’s new processor is said to provide a major advantage over its competitors, especially AMD Ryzen 7 9700X and Ryzen 9 7900X. Produced with Taiwanese TSMC’s N3B production process, this processor will definitely offer a strong option for gaming and professional users.
